High school friends Marcin KLEDZIK [drums] and Mariusz BONIECKI [guitar,
keys, voice] had been in band EMPTY ROOM and years later they
reconnected, began playing music, and chose an artrock direction for
themselves (something 'forgotten' in Poland at the time according to
them). After several lineup shifts, bassist Kacper OSTROWSKI was
inducted but soon left and by late 2008 PINKROOM had become the core duo
of KLEDZIK and BONIECKI.

The two soon had enough material to
record their debut at a friend's studio, with great care given to the
quality and presentation of the recordings. Bassist OSTROWSKI as well as
Anna SZCZYGIEL's cello and voice of Mikolaj ZIELINSKI make appearances
on the 2009 debut 'Psychosolstice'. The pair create a surprisingly full
sound with an entirely modern, somewhat Alt, often heavy slant showing
influences from mid-period FLOYD, 80s KING CRIMSON, and American
post-Grunge.

An impressive piece of work for a pair of buddies
still new to the pro music scene and 'Psychosolstice' shows definite
promise of a bright future for these two musicians out of Bydgoszcz,
northern Poland.
