The Hives are a Swedish rock band that first garnered attention in the early 2000s as a prominent group of the garage rock revival, playing garage punk. The album was originally slated for release on October 9 in the United Kingdom, however this date was postponed until the October 15, for unknown reasons, as was the original US release of October 9, 2007.
