@ " Bands such as RIVAL SONS, GRAVEYARD, GLYDER, THE ANSWER and now THE QUILL, are taking the delectable sounds of ’70s hard rock and merging them with modern day rock and pulling it off magically.

With the Swede’s sixth full-length album Full Circle, through Metalville Records, it should deservedly turn some heads THE QUILL’s way.

I wasn’t at all familiar with THE QUILL before this
release, but they sure are embedded into my conscience now. I just can’t
get enough of this album and I’m sure you readers will feel the same
way once it explodes from your speakers, headphones, ipods, etc. Call
’em stoner rock if you will, but they sure play some great tunes.

THE QUILL has a formula guaranteed to get you up on
your feet and rocking. They masterfully create a ’70s classic rock vibe
mixed with some SOUNDGARDEN-ish grunge, the tenacity of FOO FIGHTERS and some heavy distortion effects that would make Tony Iommi proud.

Vocalist Magz Arnar can sure belt out a tune — high-pitched at times,
melodious and commanding at others with similarities to Chris Cornell.
He brings the grit and soul to the band. Lest I not exclude guitarist
and riff master Christian Carlsson, who weaves his sludgy tone and
fluent shred ability with ease.

Looking for some down-tuned, heavy ’70s rock mixed with modern day metal influences and styles? Look no further. THE QUILL is it.
