 Венгерский художник Gyula Havancsák  The pieces of art you can see here were all born in digital form. A band or a publishing house hired me to create pictures from their ideas, or to simply come up with a content, if they did not have any conception. In many cases, design starts on a piece of paper or the computer The next phase is the negotiation with the Customer. Part of the pictures are totally digital drawings, but most of the time I also take some pictures that I use as references or as basic material. As a matter of course, I like to be fully trusted and to be given complete freedom in preparing the cover draft, based on an album title or the atmosphere or topic of an album or book. There are cases, when the Customer needs a front cover only, whereas sometimes they request an entire booklet with typography, poster, t-shirt design, promotional photo retouching or web design. You can check out some previews about the booklets in the Gallery created by me. I have been dealing with CD and book cover design since 2000. I have worked with an enormous number of bands like Annihilator, Destruction, Nightingale, Demonoid, Grave Digger, Memory Garden, Tankard, Elvenking, Headhunter, etc. This site shows only part of the work I carried out in cooperation with these bands.
