Mindless Torture is composed of various members and former members of bands prominent within the Midlands Metal scene. The band began in 2006 October 2006 when Gaz was acting as security guard at Club Juice the night Shadie and Anil played there with their other band Necrotize.

We began talking about musical aspirations and the desire to make a REAL death metal band. Originally a trio we began rehearsing and realised that the music we made was fucking ace. So a few weeks later Karl was recruited as a guitar player, after auditioning many bass players who just did not live up to our expectations Karl volunteered to take up the Bass.

As of May 2008 the band have undergone somewhat of a reform with Karl no longer being apart of the band and a second Guitar player Tom being added to our ranks. We recruited Nigel (Ex Life Denied) as a session bass player to help us continue playing live and writing new material as the the summer of 2008 came to a close so did Nigels time in Mindless Torture and we are very thankful to him for helping us out and wish him all the best.
