Sear Bliss начинали свой путь в далеком 1995 году с демо-записи
'The Pagan Winter', а теперь пришла пора выпустить уже четвертый
полноформатный релиз! И что удивительно - если сейчас, когда black
metal-альбомы во всем мире выходят на крупнейших лейблах, а сам стиль
смягчился и обеззубел, последние оплоты настоящей, истинной черной
музыки сохранились лишь в таких странах, как Венгрия. На своем альбоме
'Grand Destiny', венгерские блэкстеры Sear Bliss демонстрируют завидное
постоянство и верность идеалам, ни на йоту не отходя от строгих канонов
true black metal! Более сорока минут настоящего атмосферного black
metal, завораживающего своим сырым, неотполированным звучанием! Только
для самых преданных поклонников стиля!

Vic Records переиздадут ранние альбомы SEAR BLISS
Лейбл Vic Records объявил о своих планах переиздать три первых
релиза венгерского black metal коллектива SEAR BLISS: "Phantoms"
(1996), "The Pagan Winter" (1997) и "The Haunting" (1998). Все альбомы будут ремастерированы, пересведены и частично
перезаписаны, а также дополнены преимущественно неизданными ранее
бонус-треками. Также Vic Records переиздаст дебютную работу коллектива
STAR CROSSED (проект лидера SEAR BLISS Andras'a Nagy (вокал, бас,
гитары и клавишные)).
В добавление к этому, лейбл выпустит специальный альбом
музыкального проекта, состоящего из бывших и нынешних участников SEAR
BLISS (в числе которых - Winter из FOREST SILENCE) на протяжении всей
более чем 12-летней творческой биографии группы, а также мини-альбом
коллектива FOREST SILENCE (проект бывшего клавишника SEAR BLISS
Winter'a).

Formed by András Nagy in the autumn of 1993, the band tries to
create an outright original music based on dark elements combined with
deep visions presented with sheer brutality - and all enveloped in the
softening sound of a trumpet and a synthetiser. Lyrically it is a ride
in the afterworld and to places where the human body can not enter only
the most seeking soul and persistent spirit.
The band's first demo, entitled "The Pagan Winter", was
released in April 1995. This four-track tape introduced the band to the
underground scene and received great responses from all over the world.
This demo resulted in their recording contract with Mascot/Two Moons
Records and their debut album, entitled "Phantoms", was released in
August 1996. "Phantoms" was the first black metal album to be elected
"CD of the Month" in Dutch leader metal magazine Aardschok. Also in
many other magazines and fanzines all over the world their debut album
got great reviews.
Early 1997 the band toured Europe supporting Tsatthogua and
Marduk. The tour was a great success for the band. Just before the tour
Two Moons released the four songs from "The Pagan Winter" demo plus a
new 12 minutes long epic song entitled "In the Shadow of Another World"
on a mini CD.
In August 1997 the band travelled to Holland to record their
new album, entitled "The Haunting", in the Beaufort Studio. Most of the
material was recorded "live" as the band played together in the studio
which gives an extra boost of power and atmosphere to their music. One
of the most remarkable things about the new album is the fact that the
band came up with very strong songs and melodies yet also a lot of
variety in spheres. "The Haunting" contains 7 masterpieces of dark and
atmospheric yet brutal and melodic metal.
"Grand Destiny" is recorded. Zoltán Pál joins Sear Bliss as trombone-player.
Sear Bliss signs a deal with Red Stream, Inc. for three albums.
March/April: "Forsaken Symphony" is recorded.
April: Red Stream, Inc. re-releases "Grand Destiny". Sear Bliss,
together with the Illyés Gyula Theatrical Company performs "The
Beggar´s Opera" in Budapest´s most famous Theater Thália with great
success.
October: Red Stream releases "Forsaken Symphony". Sear Bliss does a
successful small European tour together with Skyforger, Grief Of
Emerald, Obtest, Bestial Mockery.
March: Sear Bliss tours the Benelux as headliner.
April: Sear Bliss plays as supporter with Marduk, Immolation and
Malevolent Creation in Budapest.
May: Sear Bliss plays together with Mortiis in Budapest.
November/December: The recording of the fifth full-lenght album titled
Glory And Perdition in the HSB studio with Viktor Scheer and Zoltán
Regenye.
"Glory And Perdition” is released in August. It is definitely
the band’s most mature and strongest release so far. A grandiose album
with intense songs, professional sound and magnificent artwork. This
album contains guest appearance by Mayhem’s vocalist Attila Csihar. The
responses from the media have never been so great before.
Sear Bliss’ first DVD was released. It contains their highly
successful 10th anniversary show, filmed in Budapest in 2004 plus a
documentary of the band with many interviews and a huge photo gallery.
The band made another headliner European tour in 2005 and many festival
appearances including Germany’s Party San festival where they had great
success.
The band signs a contract with Candlelight Records. The video klip for "Two worlds collide" is filmed.
This year they have spent most of their time so far on recording the new album, "The Arcane Odyssey" .
