 A Murder of Crows are a blistering five piece, Thrash Metal band from the northern suburbs of Adelaide, South Australia consisting of members; Paul Russell(vox), Chris Reynolds(Lead Guitar), Shane Carroll (Guitar), Richard Palmer(Drums) & Sam Robinson (Bass). This tightly bound group of mates that all shared the same passion and drive then began writing and with heavy influences such as Metallica, Pantera and Lamb of God, soon evolved to a style that is both unique and appealing to many different audiences as the music splices old school riffage and feel with the edge and power of modern day Metal. After countless hours of writing and practicing the band perfected their energetic and powerful stage show and in 2008 hit the local gig circuit hard and running, catching the eye of fans and local acts. 2010 saw the release of the'The Twisted Path EP', recorded at 'Against the Grain Studios' AMOC's debut release has had great feedback from both fans and peers and sparked excitement from the local scene as 'The Twisted Path' shows a glimpse of the success that is destined to come in the near future. Since then, AMOC haven't looked back, having the pleasure of playing along side some exceptional acts such as Double Dragon, Truth Corroded, Daysend, Five Star Prison Cell + many more and in January 2011 secured the international support act for American Heavyweights 'DARKEST HOUR' and CARNIFEX' In 2011 the band has reached new heights, taking part in their first self funded Australian tour. With confidence and momentum behind them, this Adelaide Tharsh band is only looking forward at bigger and better things to come in the neer future so keep and eye out for A Murder of Crows as they continue to turn heads \m/ .. link __________________________________
